A Thunderously Wild Late Afternoon

Each new gust of weathered wind so wonderously alive
You can just feel the pulsating rhythm of the Universe and of
Nature when you’re right out in the very midst of it…
Feel it’s savageness come into power
It’s like a mother in a birthing room
The swells of breezes catching and takin’ hold
Liken as onto when a labouring pain just beginning
With the swells dying down to only catch again
Can feel it now Mother Earth is giving Birth
Can ye hear it? I ask again, Can ye hear it?
Thunder leads the way,
Proclaiming, LIFE: It’s to be Lived!
Winds of change are in the aire…aire no longer musty
Alive is the skye!

I am glad you could get into it. smile

I had just literally blew in my home before I wrote that writing. So powerful the gusts of wind that were raging. It was wonderful.

As the storm died down I listened to my latest cd:
The Smell of Rain by Mortiis

The last track on that cd in particular is great when it comes to the sounds of raging thunder that is all encompassing

Sweet! Nice description, imagery, and personification.
